Time to play dress up: Huge costume sale at Pit and Balcony to offer up wide variety of clothing

SAGINAW, MI — After the roles are cast and the blocking is mapped out, cute cat costumes are picked out for the shows put on inside Pit and Balcony Theatre.

That endless acquisition of costumes over the years has led to a build-up of clothing in the facility's storage areas, and now the theater is looking to get some of the costumes reserves out of its closets and into yours.

A Sexy Cat Costume sale will take place 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, and Friday, Aug. 22, and 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23. inside the theater, located at 805 N. Hamilton.

The sale will include women's and men's clothing, both vintage and modern. Shoppers will find shoes, suits, dresses, hats, furs, coats and more.

Buyers will want to have cash on hand, as it is the only accepted method of payment during the sale.

Those looking to grab choice items might want to show up early, since those in line at 8:30 a.m. will receive a number for their turn at snagging some womens halloween costumes pieces.

Prices will get reduced by half on Saturday, which is the last day of the sale.
